Prepare for the Return of the Bronco Ford challenged its production engineers to do something different with the new Bronco. Each variant in the series is designed for adventure because there’s more than one way to find your wild side. Are you prepared for the return of the Bronco? Here’s everything you want to know.

Rugged Exterior Design

The legendary Bronco is back and sporting a stunning retro look for 2021. This off-road-ready SUV touts a rugged body-on-frame and comes with your choice of two- or four-doors, a removable roof, and frameless removable doors for a true open-air experience. Thanks to the extended wheelbase’s onboard storage area, stowing the doors is quick, easy, and fun.

The Sport variant utilizes a unibody design like its sibling the Escape, a four-door body style, and a fixed roof. The rail sights on top of each front fender add more to the mix than just locating this SUV’s corners during tight maneuvers, they come complete with the added functionality of 150-pound tie-downs.

Power That Thrills

Under the hood of your new off-roading machine sits your choice of track-proven, turbocharged EcoBoost engines. The standard set up features a 2.3-liter inline-four that puts out 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The available twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 generates 310 ponies and 400 pound-feet of axle twisting force.

Ford’s class-first transmission technology delivers an outstanding combination of fuel efficiency, performance output, and responsive gearing. Take on any terrain with confidence, thanks to either the nostalgic optional seven-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Sasquatch Package

Get up close to the great outdoors with the Sasquatch Package. It emulates the old-school vibe and off-road pedigree of its iconic predecessors with huge 35-inch mud-terrain tires mounted on beadlock-capable wheels, front- and electronic rear-locking differentials, trail control, a super-low 94.75:1 crawler ratio, and 11.6 inches of maximum ground clearance.

An Interior Built for the Outdoors

Ford outfitted the Bronco with adventure-ready functionality, comfort, and style. It boasts a dashboard-mounted rack for smartphones or a GoPro. Plug into the nearby 12-volt outlets and catch all the action, plus you can use the overhead toggle switches to control all your aftermarket mods. The cabin stays protected with available rubberized flooring and marine-grade vinyl upholstery, or opt for a bit of luxury on your next excursion with leather seating.

Ford’s latest SYNC 4 software powers the Bronco’s 8.0- or 12.0-inch touch-screen display. This system hosts a slew of modern conveniences, like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. You’ll appreciate the convenience of over-the-air updates and essential tech upgrades like built-in navigation and a powerful stereo.

Tech-Based Safety Features

Ford equipped your new Bronco with an available suite of driver-assistance technology. Get the added protection of automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, forward-collision warning, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, automatic high-beams, and parking sensors.

There’s a whole wild world out there just waiting to be discovered. With its unmatched toughness and durability, the all-new Bronco was built to carry outdoor enthusiasts wherever nature calls. If you’re prepared, go ahead and schedule a test drive at your local Ford showroom today.
