5 Coolest Features of the All-New Ford Bronco The Ford Bronco is finally coming back. Ford promised it would return, and this summer, it finally arrived with a cool retro look, unique and innovative features both inside and out, and off-road capabilities that will challenge others in its class. It has a removable roof and doors, along with a sleek interior with waterproof surfaces. The retro vibe gives a nod to the original, but it’s more capable and powerful than before. Here are some of the coolest features you’ll find on the all-new Ford Bronco.

  1. The Removable Top

The two-door Bronco comes with a hardtop, and the four-door comes standard with a soft top and offers the option for a hardtop. No matter which roof you get, it comes off when you want an open-air feel, and with the roll bar behind the rear seats, it’s open from the windshield all the way back past the rear seats. You can open it even further by removing the doors, which store in bags that you can keep in the Bronco to bring with you if you don’t need room behind the rear seat.

  1. GOAT Driving Modes

The Bronco’s GOAT system stands for Goes Over Any Type of Terrain. It includes seven different drive modes, including Rock Crawl, Sand, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Baja. Rock Crawl could be the most useful mode for off-road driving. It uses the onboard computers to help make real-time decisions about whether to disconnect the front sway bar, lock the differentials, and disengage the traction control. You can control these manually if you want, but the automatic mode is helpful.

  1. The Slide-Out Tailgate

The tailgate in the Bronco features a slide-out function. This makes it easy to use it as a seat, whether you are out in the middle of nowhere or tailgating in a parking lot. It also serves as a useful bench for organizing your gear before heading out on the trails.

  1. The Cabin

The cabin might look basic at first glance, but everything in it has a purpose. Each side of the dashboard has large grab handles so you can use them to get in and out. Ford made the floors out of rubber, and they have built-in drains for when you need to hose the Bronco out after a muddy ride. The cabin also features a mounting bar along the top of the dash if you want to put your phone or even a go-pro camera up there.

  1. The Technology

An 8-inch touch screen comes standard, with a 12-inch screen available as an option depending on the trim. Ford’s latest version of their infotainment system is SYNC 4. It comes standard, and it works with Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Wireless charging is also a standard feature, and in some trims, you can upgrade the stereo to a Bang & Olufsen system.

The 2021 Ford Bronco is the ultimate vehicle, whether you want it for on the road or off. It has some unique features and equipment, and it is capable of tackling any terrain. Stop by Green Lincoln to find out more about the new Bronco or to test drive anything from our inventory.
